Why is my shipping so expensive?
UPDATE: March 2022 – Inflation and rising fuel prices are driving significant increases in both the cost of tarp systems and shipping. Manufacturers are working to adjust manufacturing and shipping processes in an attempt to reduce the rising costs, however, increases are expected to continue as the country experiences unprecedented inflation.
NOTE: May 2021 – We are experiencing shipping delays on many parts, tarps, and systems due to supply chain interruptions and a spring-time surge in orders. Likewise, shipping rates have been impacted due to recent increases in fuel.
As of early 2018, shippers including UPS, FedEx, Old Dominion, and many others have significantly increased their oversized shipping rates. If your purchase includes items exceeding 96 inches, your shipping costs may be affected and may increase the total purchase cost. As an item’s size increases, the shipping rates increase as well. Likewise, shipments to a residential address may increase the shipping cost. LoAlbo Enterprises, Inc. may contact you prior to shipping with questions. UPDATE: As we enter 2022, shipping rates have continued to increase dramatically. Oversized shipments (longer than 96″) will cost significantly more in 2022. We apologize for the increases and are working to find methods to reduce the shipping costs without impacting the integrity of the products we distribute.
